The Thenmala dam is the second largest irrigation project in Kerala . Tourism Department is promoting it as EcoTourism Project .
Main attraction are
- The Deer Park
- Adventure Zone -The adventure zone features an elevated walkway, rock climb, river crossing, mountain biking, swings and rope ladders.You cross the river using a rope tied across the river (The river at the park is nothing but an artificial pond).There are also assistants to help you with river crossing.
- Butterfly Park

Thanks a lot for sharing this beautiful lines regarding the Thenmala dam in Kerala. I like visiting this types of the place very much when i get times during the days of the holidays. I am planning to visit this place in the month of January from Chennai to Kerala in the next year.
